Caroline Mallard is an acupuncturist midwife. Upon her graduation from the renowned Port Royal-Baudelocque School of Midwives in Paris in 2003, she first worked at Mignot Hospital in Le Chesnay during 4 years, then at Beaujon Hospital, AP-HP (both in Paris) during another 4 year-period, in all the different wards of maternity, delivery room, antenatal clinic, prenatal ward and postnatal ward.
In 2011, she published a book based upon her graduation thesis, “The obstetrical interest of changing positions during labour,” published by the Editions Universitaires Européennes (under her maiden name Caroline Paufichet) and was a invited to speak about this subject at a number of professional conferences. She recently gained an inter-university diploma of obstetrical acupuncture after 2 years of study. Like any midwife working in the UK, with the NHS or as an independent midwife, she is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and as an acupuncturist, member of The British Medical Acupuncture Society.
Caroline gives appointment on Tuesdays afternnon from 2pm till 6.30pm.
