** PRACTICE UPDATE **
We are currently offering appointments for Osteopathy, Physiotherapy and Phlebotomy. Please see below our Covid-19 policy and measures.
Remote consultations are encouraged when possible.
After opening up for emergency and essential appointments earlier this month, following our insurance and government guidelines, we are happy to announce we have now extended our criteria for physical consultations to “less urgent” needs for patients non covid-19 and clear of “covid 19 related symptoms” for 14 days.
Same rules as before are applied: we operate according to the latest Government and Public Health England guidance, which recommends PPE with the single-use of gloves/thorough and multiple handwashing, aprons with each patient, and risk assessment for use of surgical masks at each session when working with non-symptomatic patients.
For Osteopathy and Physiotherapy sessions, each patient will be triaged via phone before confirming a face to face appointment; following our risk assessment procedure.
In summary, we ensure that we will:
- Determine in our professional judgment and following the guidance provided, establish if a face to face consultation is needed instead of remote consultation.
- Review of the PPE guidance
- Ensure our ability to meet/undertake the current infection control guidance
- Apply immediately after consultation standard infection control procedures. This includes correct hand hygiene, couch hygiene, disinfecting plinth, and contact surfaces between patients.
If possible, remote consultations are still encouraged.
We are looking forward to seeing you all very soon, please get in touch if you have any questions.
Patients will be requested to wear a mask or a piece of clothing to cover the nose and mouth; to respect physical distancing when applicable and to wait outside the premises for their appointment.
